Prizing based off of 128 teams per server (NAE/NAW)

OVERVIEW:

 

The duos Masters League will feature 3 different platforms on both North American servers! Each league for each platform and server has its own prize pool. Then after the league is over, all teams on that platform will face off head to head in a giant tournament seeded by the teams scoring in the league!



 

LEAGUE STRUCTURE AND RULING:

 

-All rules mentioned in the "Rules" section of our website are applicable here unless specified otherwise.

SECTION 1: SCORING AND REPORTING
-1 win is equal to 1 point on the leaderboard. 
-VALID VOD proof must be submitted correctly via the website by 12am PST/2am CST/3am EST each night of scrims.
-Proof for winning the league match must be in a TWITCH HIGHLIGHT.
-Reporting and leaderboards will be accessible through this page.

SECTION 2: PLAY
-A team MUST queue into the server that they chose upon registration for the Masters Duos League.
-A team will only receive points for playing in their servers games. (We will run 4 NAE games and 4 NAW games at the designated times. If you are registered for NAE, you can ONLY receive points for the 4 NAE games.)
-A valid queue is considered to be the click of ready by the leader of the party while the duo partner is already ready. The click must be on the word "queue" from the countdown moderator. The party leader on queue will ready themselves to play on the server that the duo registered for.

SECTION 3: ROSTERS AND TEAMS
-Each platform's league is capped at 128 teams per server (PC NAE = 128 teams | PC NAW = 128 teams)
-Roster changes are not provided for this league. In order to make a roster change, an extra roster change must be purchased via the store.
-A valid roster consists of the two (2) players that are listed on the leaderboard only. 
-No substitutes are allowed.

-If your server does not fill to a minimum of 64 teams, you will be combine with the opposing server on the same platform for the season. There will be no refunds.

SECTION 4: PRIZING
-Prizes are based upon max participation in that platform's league and server (128 teams). If said league does not fill up, the same percentage of entry fee vs. prize pool will be used to determine the prize pool.

SECTION 5: SCHEDULE

  • 5 Games are played on Mondays and Thursdays around the following times

    • NAE - 7pm CST | 8pm EST

    • NAW - 8pm PST | 9pm MT

  • Please note that the times above are not exact. Times will be +/- 10 minutes and the official schedule with those times will be posted in the schedule section of the Solos Masters League Discord Category that you will receive access to after registration. ​

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE AND RULING:

 

-All rules mentioned in the "Rules" section of our website are applicable here unless specified otherwise.
-Tournament takes place August 12th.

SECTION 1: PLAYING AND WINNING
-Number of kills in a match (2 games) with your opponent will determine the victor of the match.
-Top team on the bracket will host the 1st game of the series on their desired server (NAE or NAW).
-Bottom team on the bracket will host the 2nd game of the series on their desired server (NAE or NAW).
-Game 1 kills + Game 2 kills = Total Match Kills. The team with the higher total match kills wins the match.
-In the case of total match kills being a tie, a third game hosted by the higher seed will be played as a tie breaker. This shall continue until a winner is determined.

SECTION 2: NO-SHOW POLICY
-The team of 2 players must show up for the match or it is a forfeit. One player from a team cannot play the match alone.

-The opposing team has 10 minutes from the designated start time of the match to report to the opposing team.

-A Twitch Highlight of your actions during the ten minutes showing you proactively trying to get them in your lobby will be considered sufficient proof of a no show. 


SECTION 3: UNFAIR PLAY

-Any player inside your 2v2 queued session MAY NOT destroy any bases made by their opponent, make them fall, or any other actions that may help lead to that person's death.

-Examples of sabotage include but are not limited to: 
--Breaking or weakening opponent's built or non built structures or cover by any means.
--Causing opponents to miss shots or miss opportunities for increasing their scores in any way shape or form.
--Building in front of your opponent.
--Boogie Bombing your opponent.
--The use of a boogie bomb on your opponent at any point in the game are subject to disqualifications.

SECTION 4: PRIZING

LIVE STREAMS OF PLAYERS PLAYING IN A STEPONE DUOS MASTERS LEAGUE AND TOURNAMENT GAME ARE ALLOWED TO BE USED IN A STEPONE BROADCAST.
- STREAMS must have a 30 second delay minimum.

-Streams are required so if there is a dispute, we can review it from all angles.
